Brent Bolick – Executive Pastor

Senior Pastor Brent Bolick was born and raised in Blowing Rock, NC, and was called into the ministry as a teenager. After serving churches in Reidsville and Deep Gap, NC, he became Pastor at MVC in March, 2013.

Brent is a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and also earned a BA from The College at Southeastern. Besides preaching and serving as Pastor, he enjoys music, reading, and The Andy Griffith Show! He and his wife Tracey have four children, two cats, and a dog named Millie.

Seth Lee – Worship Pastor

Seth grew up as a military kid, going wherever the Army or Navy sent his father. He has always considered Black Mountain, NC his home as he visited his grandparents here frequently. Seth is married to Carly and they have 2 dogs that keep them busy. When Seth isn’t leading worship, he loves to read a good book, watch Survivor, and go exploring with his wife.

Joshua Williams - Student Pastor

Joshua joined the MVC Staff in September of 2017.  He grew up in Gastonia, NC.  He is married to Savannah and they have two boys, Malachi and Elias.  He received a Parks and Recreation Degree from WCU, so of course he loves to be outside, hiking, kayaking or relaxing in the hammock.  After graduating from WCU Joshua attended Liberty Univ. and earned a Master of Arts Degree in Church Ministries, focusing on Youth and Evangelism.  He has spent the last eight years teaching and working with youth. He and his family are extremely excited that God has opened the door for them here at Mountain View.

Mary Long - Receptionist

Mary is the receptionist here at MVC.  She loves to serve the church and considers her job a blessing. She is involved with the women’s ministry as well as Celebrate Recovery, she also has a love for our seniors here at Mountain View and enjoys talking with them.

She grew up in Hammond, Indiana as the youngest of ten children.  After a long banking career beginning at the age of 17, she retired in 2017 from BB&T in Cary North Carolina.  In July 2017, she moved to Black Mountain and married Warren at Mountain View.  She was also baptized here . She has a daughter, Andrea, who is 37, who lives in Durham.  

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, walking and spending time with family and friends.
